1. Who we are
SlideShip is operated by Craftz, LLC, a company organized in Delaware, United States ("we", "us", or "our"). This policy covers SlideShip's website and services, including slideshow creation, AI generation, scheduling, and connected social accounts. Craftz, LLC is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, profile image, and account identifiers provided when you sign in with Google, along with your account preferences.
- Content and settings: images, slideshow designs, text, prompts, generated content, collections, publishing instructions, and automation schedules you create or upload.
- TikTok information: your account identifier, display name, avatar, username where authorized, granted permissions, access and refresh tokens, publishing status, post identifiers, and available counts of views, likes, comments, and shares.
- Billing information: when you purchase a paid service, Stripe processes payment and billing details. We may receive customer and subscription identifiers, payment status, and transaction records needed to manage your purchase.
- Technical and support information: session information, browser and device details, IP addresses and diagnostic logs that may be recorded when you use the service, and information you send when contacting us.
3. How we use information
We use information to authenticate you, save and render your content, generate slideshow text, carry out your publishing and scheduling instructions, display performance metrics, process payments, respond to support requests, and maintain the security and reliability of SlideShip.
Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our agreement with you, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, meet legal obligations, or act on your consent where required. Without necessary account information, we cannot provide an account; optional integrations require the permissions needed for their features.
4. Connected TikTok accounts
Connecting TikTok authorizes SlideShip to access the permissions shown during authorization. We use that access to identify your connected account, send content to TikTok at your direction, check delivery status, and retrieve available post metrics. Stored access and refresh tokens are encrypted.
You can disconnect TikTok from your SlideShip account settings. Disconnecting clears the tokens stored by SlideShip and attempts to revoke access with TikTok. Saved account details, publishing history, and analytics remain in SlideShip until deleted separately. You can also revoke access in TikTok's settings.
Disconnecting SlideShip or deleting your SlideShip account does not remove posts already sent to TikTok. Manage those posts directly on TikTok, which handles information under its own privacy policy.
5. When we share information
- Service providers: we use providers for authentication and database services (Supabase), hosting and media storage, and other infrastructure needed to run SlideShip.
- AI generation: when you use AI features, relevant prompts, creative instructions, text fields, and content context are sent to OpenAI to generate text.
- Payments: Stripe processes paid transactions and may also use payment information for its own fraud prevention and legal obligations. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Publishing and sharing: we send your selected content and publishing settings to TikTok. Content you share through community features is available to other users. Media used for previews and publishing may be accessible to anyone who has its URL.
- Legal and business purposes: information may be disclosed to comply with law, protect rights and security, or support a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the business, subject to applicable protections.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Cookies and local storage
SlideShip uses cookies to maintain sign-in sessions and secure account connections. Browser storage remembers preferences such as your theme and workspace settings. Blocking cookies or clearing browser storage may sign you out or reset preferences. This policy does not treat your use of SlideShip as consent to optional tracking that requires separate consent.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain account information and saved content while needed to provide the service. Retention also depends on the type of record, your deletion requests, security needs, and applicable accounting or legal obligations.
You can delete your account in account settings. Account deletion removes your sign-in account and associated database records. Stored media, backup copies, and records retained for legal or security reasons may remain separately; contact us to request deletion of remaining personal information. Copies already published to TikTok or shared with other users are not automatically removed from those destinations.
8. Security and international processing
We use access controls and technical safeguards to protect information. No online service or storage system can guarantee complete security.
Craftz, LLC is organized in the United States, and our providers may process information in other countries. Privacy protections can differ by location. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, those requirements apply to our processing. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information, restrict its use, or withdraw consent. You may also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to complain to your local privacy regulator. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

10. Children and policy changes
SlideShip is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the date above and provide notice of material changes through the service or email as required by applicable law.
